Aug 04, 2016  If you are having trouble with Galactic War in Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, here’s a list of strategies to win. You should improve not only your win% but also time spent. Restarting and randomly changing things up does help, but it also takes a lot of time. These tips are written assuming Galactic War is toughest on node 12.

Click to expand. Why?LoGH have the range advantage.LoGH have the sublight speed advantage.LoGH have the numbers advantage.Against Disney SW, LoGH has the firepower advantage. Click to expand. We have a canon number of 25k Star Destroyers and the industrial capacity of two Death Stars to redirect to conventional naval power if the Empire isn't throwing resources down the superweapon drain. The Separatists maintained fleet levels sufficient to need three years and a Deus Ex to be put out to pasture by the Republic while getting a decent start on a Death Star. The setting canonically involves at least ten thousand inhabited systems per Dooku in Attack of the Clones. Reason dictates that given near real time FTL transits, no known range limitations and no obvious way to create choke points or fronts, no one mobs up their ships into giant murder balls RTS style because while you might be assured of one victory at the exact same time formations of a half dozen ships are hitting all the targets of opportunity created by siphoning off all of these ships from their garrisons to form said murder ball. Alternately, the opposition will recall of its forces to pin the murder ball in place with a murder ball of its own. That being said, two years without a superweapon junkie on the throne is not likely enough lead time to make up for the numerical deficiencies without a unit per unit superiority margin of at least an order of magnitude. In most of these threads it seems to be the case that if the Galactic Empire won't fight on the terms of its anime rival, the LOGH Empire has vastly more ships and fewer systems to disperse them across so on the defensive, its fairly well equipped to withstand the sort of high mobility, the front line is everywhere at all once sort of guerrilla tactics that is usually the GE's best bet for buying time against a foe that doesn't have the FTL speed to KO it in an afternoon.

Click to expand.Hyperspace mapping isnt necessary for a jump. Plus they have stealth ships and long range dedicated scouts that are small, fast and can easily slip away.

The Logh empire isnt that big compared to the SW Empire and is full of unpatrolled sections. It really wouldn't take that long to map out the major locations.

Assuming they don't just jump an unarmed cargo freight and steal their maps, that is.As for the sensors, a lot of good that will do when you dont have a defending fleet. Travel between stars in Logh can take days, week, even months. While Hyperdrive can get you from one side of the galaxy to the next in a few hours. And a lot of Logh space is left undefended. So at least for the first few months until Reinhard can reconfigure the fleet movements the SW Empire can come and go as they please. Hyperspace mapping isnt necessary for a jump.

And no, they can't use hyperdrive-scouts that will 'easily slip away' given the ranges LoGH sensors operate on- Geiersburg's exit is detected 300 light seconds distant, so any ship scouting has to exit outside 300 light seconds and then travel the rest of the way with SW sublight, which is slow.

It also raises the question that SW is used to operating in a setting where the Mk1 eyeball is a viable sensor, so how are they going to realise they have to drop out 300+ light seconds away from their target to not get detected? You also don't need defence fleets with stuff like the Necklace and the multiple fortresses the LoGH empire has. Any one of those could destroy any shown non-DS SW fleet given the difference in everything. This also requires totally unseen tactics on SW's side, which would be based on information they don't have given the OP giving them 0 prep or knowledge. How are they going to build up a profile on the enemy to know to leverage their hyperdrives when any SW military ship that LoGH runs into will be blasted from 30+ light seconds away, meaning the SW ship won't even know they are under attack until they've been picked apart?
